A Decentralised Autonomous Initial Coin Offering (DAICO) is a fundraising model that combines the benefits of Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). It incorporates a governance mechanism that enables token holders to have a say in the funding process. The process is governed by smart contracts that regulate the release of funds raised during the ICO. Token holders can vote on how funds are allocated or decide to refund the remaining contributions if the project fails to meet expectations.
